Name: Cody
Gender: Male.
Species: Experimental (Ethereal) Being.
Age: Unknown, but looks like he's around 14.
Appearance: Cody has green-hazel eyes and short, spiky, light green hair. He likes to wear more outlandish clothing styles then modern clothing styles, so he kind of looks like he belongs in a fantasy world. He also prefers to wear colorful clothing, but will wear gray or brown for a neutral color. Cody is 4'8", has a very boyish and scrappy figure, but has no outstanding features (much to his apparent dismay).
Powers: Cody's powers mainly deal with the psyche, but he also has above basic Arcane and Shadow magic knowledge. (He likes Shadow because it aids the powers he already has.)
He's highly telepathic, telekinetic; able to see certain magical auras, and able to sense personal auras. He's also able to travel through places like Astral plains without much worry, (not that he's one to worry), and is capable of mind control.
Then he has some unknown powers from a giant demi-god that he killed. (He has no real idea either. But he could feel the change.) Good times.
Personality: Cody is generally cheerful, active, giving, welcoming, accrediting, and grateful. With a love for most everything. He has a very SPONTANEOUS attitude and will often just go off to do something. Just whatever interests him at the time, as he likes to keep things interesting and gets bored if things stay the same for too long.
He is very outgoing, and tends to be a bit of a flirt. Sometimes going out of his way to flirt with someone just to get on their nerves, other times flirting with sincerity.
However, although he generally has a good nature, sometimes he just likes to start things, and despite his friendly attitude he can be very devious and dangerous when he wants to be. (As he might say, he enjoys it when 'all bloody hell breaks loose.') It would be wise not to get him started in this direction.
Throughout all this, Cody actually has a fear of being alone and takes strives to meet new people all of the time. Although this makes him seem like an attention hog - and he has no trouble with being in the spotlight - he doesn't crave attention so much as company.
Background: Cody was "made" in a lab. As an experiment of the Company, Cody was imprisoned, and was put through a high amount of tests. He hated the Company and it's people for many reasons, but mainly because - in his eyes - they dared to play "God" and they toyed with peoples' lives.
During his younger years, he had no physical form and he was kept in a simple chamber with magical barriers. It wasn't until later that he realized that the only thing keeping him there was the walls of the chamber, not the people beyond them. The more he watched the more he realized that the Company underestimated him. So when he finally put his mind to it, he escaped.
However, since Cody wasn't born with a physical body he had to go and steal one. His 'first body' was that of an older man. But because of his age, the body soon died, and he had so go out and find another.. and then another later on. His current body would be his third one, which is a young teen. Not much is known about the second one or what he did during that time.
Much later and in his third body, he tumbled into a world of fantasy, where a war was being waged and a heroine was supposed to save the world. .. Well, Cody happened to first make things worse -- mainly the fighting. Along the way he met the redheaded heroine. She didn't trust him, but he managed to persuade her to let him travel with her for a few days. Slowly but surely she learned who he was through others. She was ready to take up arms against him and he simply grinned and kissed her. ( He really did like her. ~ ) This made her furious, but he ran off, deciding that he'd like to beat the heroine to her "destiny".
She was supposed to find a giant demi-god of unknown power and slay it, thus gaining the power to decide the fate of the world. Of course, he beat her there and did her job. But the only thing Cody decided to do was to have the giant's corpse fall on the war waging forces.
I don't know what happened afterwords.
After that, went back to the Company for unknown reasons. But there he found a young girl; a very sweet, and what could possibly be described as "angelic," girl. She had no name but Cody took to her instantly. He felt a uniqueness to her and he connected to her like no other. .. In short, he loved her. (First person he'd ever loved.) As you can imagine, he decided to save her from the Company, so she could live.
I suspect that the Company had an inkling that it would happen, because they were ready. In the end, Cody and the girl ( who now goes by the name 'Jane Doe' ) were separated. For a time, neither of them knew where the other was. Jane actually believed Cody to be dead.
Other: When Cody.. lets say, "body snatches." What he does is he suppresses their minds and souls until they're no more, thus the body becomes his. He doesn't seem to think much of it though. Although it could be said that he doesn't always suppress their souls. - Depends on the situation, and you should know how he is by now.
